How did I sneaked in the Red Carpet at The Annual Academy Awards, The Oscars 2017? / ¿Como entre a los Oscares en el 2017?

Hello, I’m Rita García and I wanted to share with you my peoples, my story when I got to sneak in the Red Carpet of The Annual Academy Awards, The Oscars in 2017.

All began on December of 2016, I wanted to be creative that new year that was coming up. I was totally tired of the routine every year, so I decided changing things around and doing something fun and adventures will spice my life. I started to investigate red carpet events for the year 2017. I wanted something different to do, into I bumped into The Annual Academy Awards known as The Oscars.

How did I found this? Google! Of course, when your search on google you get everything you need. I got all the info of the event, creating a mind set to attend to The Oscars. The event was taking place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on February of 2017. This event is celebrated every year. At that time I lived in Hoboken, NJ; I worked for a Hair Salon and for a TV network, in which they give me a ID card to have access to the facilities of the building located in NYC.

On that same month, I put to the task to get my flight tickets to go to Los Angeles, California. After a long day seeking different air lines, I definitely got the better option with JetBlue. JetBlue had better offers then other companies and the better selection when it comes to traveling. You not going to believe how much a got to pay for my tickets, $ 250.00 round trip, incredible right?

After getting my tickets I realized that i wasn’t ready for this trip, omg now I had to find a place to stay and transportation to be able to move around. I was getting very nervous about this trip. During those weeks, I had a client at the beauty salon to do her hair. She was visiting NJ from Venezuela and she mention she has been traveling that entire month. I got so curious, and if you know me, you’ll know ill ask. I asked her how she was making it happen, she started explaining me her strategy and introduced me to the APP AIRBNB. Omg, Air? bnb its a tremendous application, she set it up and everything for me. She was definitely like a falling angle trying to help me. When I got home that night, I started to explore that application. I was so amazed how many alternatives and many beautiful places in Los Angeles, CA. After two day of researching, I got to find an amazing room in Beverly Hills for only $20 dollars the night. At that moment I was more relaxed cause I got my flight and air bnb reservations already, the next missing was the transportation. I decided that when I’ll get to the airport LAX I would rent a car at the airport. Error, although I found a excellent offer to be honest, but then I found out that is much better if I would’ve used their application. I could’ve saved money if I had used the car company application, my last option when it came to pick witch company of car rentals it was convenient for me was AVIS. Actually it was the best option, they had a variety of excellent models and great deals of prices.

Happiness couldn’t explain the emotion I was felling with this trip preparation. I started packing with time in advance since I’m so anal when it comes to packing, and even though I’ll do that, I’ll always end up over pack, lol.

One day I had a vision, on this vision the only thing I got to see was that my feet where on top of a red carpet. That morning I understood that the universe was on my favor and that this will actually happen. I was extremely motivated with this trip that I knew it was going to be amazing and definitely a life changing.

The next morning this idea came up into my mind, that would probably make my dream come true, although I believe would be a risk move to do, but I didn’t care about the consequences at that moment. I have sense that I have a special coverage that protects me, no matter the decisions that I make in life, and I was so positive about all this strategy. Also something very important that I practice is the Law of Attraction, I believe that helps to achieve dreams.

Finally the day had come that I fly fo the first time to Los Angeles, California. In this story

I want to obviate my personal experience traveling to the LAX and the places that I visited on that trip, but I really want to concentrate on telling you my experience at The Oscars.

I arrived a day before the event, witch was taking place in the Dobly Theater in Hollywood. The flight got to LAX late at night, so I didn’t really had the time to do basically noting but rest after a long trip. The following morning I was so excited to be in Beverly Hills, I wanted to do a little of tourism in the surroundings to explore the area, and totally forgetting that there was a difference of hours from the east to the west coast, its was like 4 hours of difference. When I got to realized it was very late because the event had already began and I was giving a tour by Santa Monica contemplating the beach. Quickly I drove back to Beverly Hills to immediately get ready for The Oscar. Although the event had started my plan was still standing, and as part of plan I had to dress accordingly to the event. Lol. I took with me a formal suit, I knew it will fit perfect for the plan and I wouldn’t be underestimated.

Then after getting ready I drove to Hollywood and took me by surprise just arriving to the area. I’m thinking that this event could be like as the ball drop in New York City, that is basically open for public, total mistake. The tapeworm all the blocks avoiding cars and trafficking at all, the sidewalks were surrounded with a gates as of 9 feet of heights that not even stretching and raising your arms you couldn’t pull a clear photo. All was closed and was impossible the access. I can deny that in that moment I started to lose the faith, and I said in high voice, I’m not living from here until my feet touch that red carpet.

After standing on the sidewalk for hours, and being a little disappointed cause I arrived after the red carpet. The show finally ended, and little by little it started to arrive a lot of luxurious cars to pick up each guest before they got out the theater. All was a sequence of numbers, each guest had a number corresponding to its car. That process took many hours, I could say that many were waiting for hours to be called by their number. I was so shocked with the majority of women couldn’t deal with the pain on their feet because of their high hills shoes, what a torture. Lol Hilarious.

While all of that what’s happening I could’ve appreciate and enjoy the moment behind of those gate, that gave me the impression that we were in imprison, Lol. I saw a lot of artists and many with an Oscar trophy leaving the event waving at the crowd, I was very exited.

Obvious the security and the measures relevant were of that nature, with this prestigious event and with many artists using clothing and extremely costly jewelry it’s necessary the protection to avoid a situation out of hands. I was so wrapped up into emotion that I had forgotten to eat. Went to the car and started to fine something to eat around the area. Then I decide to return driving the car around, seeking a way to enter the event. My mind was so determinant to that vision that I had total faith that was going to happen. Several turns driving, I decided to pass a urbanization, when suddenly I bumped into to a traffic lights on a intersection and when I looked to the left I noticed that there was the awards main gate entrance.

I started to shout of the emotion and without thinking twice I parked on a non parking place not caring. Got out the car and started to run towards the entrance and noticed that a individual started to follow my steps, before I almost arrive close to the red carpet I decided to stop running and began to walk, composing my attitude, walking straight with elegance.

When suddenly a lady dressed with a security uniform appeared saying that we couldn’t be there, I looked directly to her eyes and ask her why not?, she answered that I needed a carnet to be able to pass. Immediately I told her I got one, while I was saying this I was reaching to my pocket and taking out my carnet from the TV channel I worked in, then I replied, I work for a news channel. She began to examine the identification and then said: YOU CAN PASS. My answer was thanks with a enormous smile. The minute I started walking on the red carpet I remember the same reflection I had back home when I was standing on a red carpet.

Let me tell you something, if this only lady could of had seen my inside at that moment. I was giving car wells and jumping of emotion inside of me. It was like fireworks on a 4th of July, I was totally lost on the moment, but I was also concentrated in the action I was performing at that moment, couldn’t lose the sanity. When I so face to face the huge statue of the Oscar so close to me I was mega impressed that I couldn’t resist touching it.

This happened around four and half in the morning, I started taking pictures with that enormous oscar, the funny part is the same security was the one that took my photos, lol. At that time actually everything had finished, their where dismantling all that production that they had created for the event. It might be like nothing for you but that was sufficient for me, the life is a puzzle you build and every pieces count for your end goals. I believe you’ll obtain what ever you want if you really want it. Then after the pictures and rebuilding my energy and enjoy that moment I left that place walking totally different. In the course on the way to the car, I said to my self, mission accomplished.

The following day I posted the pics on my social media, attracting new followers, many of my current followers filled me up with much joy for their pride for me, leaving comments with much love. For other part many of my friendships didn’t even care, Lol those are my favorites, that motivate me to continue reaching my goals and becoming the best of me. In reality people don’t know is that when I share my life in the social media is to demonstrate that you can, not caring who you are or where you came from, you should never stop dreaming. Therefore when somebody doubt of me, is a positive energy for me, it makes me stronger.

Would I do it again, definitely but next time through out the main door.

The following day I got a tattoo of a Oscar as symbol of believe and motivation to continue reaching my goals. I want thanks God for the privilege of allowing me live this experience. Although perhaps not of the appropriate way but I’m super happy about it. I hope that you like my story and motivates you to enjoy your life to the fullest, and to let your imagination, dream and have fun, because if your don’t do it, no one will do it for you.

To conclude this story I want you to know that no matter what you want in life its never imposible obtaining it. I remember the moment they had new nominees of best hair and makeup, I totally moved with the idea that one day I’ll have one on my possession.

SPANISH/ Hola, soy rita garcia y quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia cuando trate de entrar a la alfombra roja ilegalmente en los Oscares en el 2017.

Todo comenzó cuando en diciembre del 2016 me dio la idea de investigar eventos de alfombra roja para el ano 2017, ya que quería hacer algo diferente y me tope con uno de los mas prestigioso o mejor dicho el mas prestigioso diría yo de los eventos,

Annual Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars. Of course, google me dio todos los datos de dicho evento, y me trace en mi mente la meta el tratar de asistir al evento que iba tomar lugar at the Dobly Theatre in Hollywood en febrero del 2017.

En ese entonces me encontraba viviendo en Hoboken Nj, trabajando para una peluquería y para el canal de televisión Fox News & Fox Business Network haciendo cabello y maquillaje, la cual te dan una ID card para tener acceso a las facilidades. Entre mas pasaban los días mas deseo me daba para ir experimentar una nueva aventura. En ese mes de diciembre me puse a verificar los boletos para viajar a Los Ángeles, California donde estaría dando los Oscar. Después de una larga jornada buscando la línea aérea que mas me convenía, definitivamente la mejor opción fue jet blue, con las mejores ofertas de viaje y la mejor selección de agenda para viajar. Aunque no me lo creas pude conseguir un vuelo ida y vuelta por tan solo $250 dólares, increíble verdad. Pero cierto, luego de tener el boleto que lo compre sin pensarlo, después me di la tarea en buscar hospedaje y transportación. La dicha de todo esto es que durante esa semanas, tuve una clienta en la peluquería para hacerle el cabello, ella venia de Venezuela y llevaba un mes viajando. Me dio tanta curiosidad que le pregunte como lo hacía, me explico su estrategia y me introdujo a la aplicación AIR BNB. Omg, que tremenda aplicación, comencé a explorar la aplicación y me daba tantas alternativas y en muchos lugares en Los Angeles. Escogí una habitación en Beverly Hills por tan solo $20 dólares la noche. Así mismo es, tuve la opción de realizar una reservación por los días que iba a estas en lo Angeles. Si no me equivoco fueron como $180 dólares aproximadamente por toda la estadía que iba a estar allí. Luego de solucionar el vuelo y la estadía, lo que me faltaba era la transportación, decidí que cuando llegara al aeropuerto LAX alquilaría un carro en el mismo aeropuerto. Error, aunque encontré una excelente oferta al estar allí, pero luego me entere que es mucho mas factible en la aplicación de dicha compañía para rentar carros. Me pude haber ahorrado dinero si hubiera utilizado la aplicación, mi opción final fue con la compañía AViS. En realidad es una buena opción para alquiler, también tiene una variada de excelente modelos de autos conforme tu gusto.

Bueno, luego de divertirme preparando este viaje, comencé a empacar con mucha emoción. Un día tuve una vision y pude ver mis pies caminando encima de una alfombra roja. Ese día pude entender que el universo se alineaba a mi favor y que la dicha de estar sobre la alfombra en los oscar seria realidad. Tu sabes que después de dicha vision yo estaba sumamente motivada con este viaje que cambiaria mi vida. Un día me levante con una idea que haría mi sueno realidad, aunque seria ilegal creo que me arriesgaría a realizarlo no importando las consecuencias. Siempre he sentido que tengo una cobertura que me protege no importando las decisiones que realice. Creo rotundamente el la ley de la atracción y se que todo era un propósito ser cumplido.

Hasta que al fin llego el día del viajar, y por primera vez a Los Ángeles, California. En esta historia quiero obviar mi historia personal al viajar a Los Ángeles y a los lugares que pude visitar, solo quiero entrar en detalles en mi experiencia en los Oscares. Yo llegue un día antes del evento, el evento iba a tomar parte en el teatro Dobly en Hollywood. El vuelo llego tarde en la noche del día anterior. Al siguiente día, emocionada quise hacer un poco de turismo en los alrededores para explorar el area olvidando que había diferencia de horas de donde venia, si no me equivoco 4 horas de diferencia. Cuando me percate era muy tarde porque el evento ya comenzaba y yo estaba dando una vuelta en Santa Monica viendo la playa. Rápidamente conducí a Beverly Hills donde me estaba quedando, a prepárame para el evento. Aunque el evento había comenzado mi plan todavía seguía en pies, y como parte del plan tenia que vestirme acorde al evento. Lol. Traje conmigo en este viaje un traje de vestir de tres piezas, junto a una combinación de corbata floreada con su lapel y otros accesorios. Luego de prepárame fui al lugar del evento, por sorpresa me tomo al llegar al area. Yo pensando que este evento podría ser como en New York on the ball drop, que es abierto para publico, pero me equivoqué. Mira mi gente, allí tenia todos las cuadras bloqueadas, ósea que no había trafico ninguno, las aceras estaban rodeadas con una verjas como de 9 pies de alturas que ni estirando alzando las manos podrías tirar una foto con claridad. Todas estaba clausurado y era imposible el acceso. No te puedo negar que en ese momento comencé a perder la fe, y me dije en voz alta de aquí yo no me voy hasta que mis pies toquen esa alfombra roja. Luego de estar allí por horas, ya que había llegado después del desfile de alfombra roja, finalmente terminó el evento. Comenzaron poco a poco llegar carros lujosos a recoger a cada invitado en dicho evento, ósea todas las celebridades. Todo era una secuencia de números, cada invitado tenia un numero correspondiente a su auto. Ese proceso tomo muchísimo tiempo, yo diría que muchos estuvieron que esperar horas para que le llamaran su numero. Eran tan increíble que muchas de las artista no podían con sus pies del dolor de sus zapatos y obviamente costosos y sobre eso tener que estar de pies horas después del evento, que tortura. Mientras eso acontecía yo podía apreciar lo que acontecía mientras estuve detrás de aquellas verja que daban la impresión que estabas encarcelada. Lol. Pude ver muchísimo artistas y muchos con sus trofeos partiendo de dicho evento. Era obvio que la seguridad y las medidas pertinentes fueran de esa índole, puesto que con tan prestigioso evento y con tantos artistas utilizando vestimentas y bisutería sumamente costosas era necesario dicha protección y evitar una situación incontrolable.

Luego de estar de pies por varias horas decidí ir a comerme algo ligero mientras, porque hasta eso había olvidado por tanta emoción envuelta. Luego de eso decide dar una vuelta en el auto alrededor buscando la manera de entra a dicho evento. Tenia mi mente determinante a que mi vision se haría realidad. Luego de varias vueltas decidí transitar por la urbanización cuando de repente llegue a una luz de semáforo y cuando mire a la izquierda note que estaba la enterada principal de dichas verjas que pusieron en todo Hollywood. Comencé a gritar de la emoción y sin pensarlo dos veces me estacione en un lugar que no me podía estacionar pero en ese momento no me importaron las circunstancias. Me baje de carro y comencé a correr hacia la entra y note que un individuo trato de seguir mis pasos, antes de casi llegar cerca a la alfombra decidí parar de correr y comenzar a caminar, componiendo mi postura, caminando derecha y con elegancia. Cuando de repente aparecía una dama vestida con uniforme de seguridad diciendo que no podíamos estar ahí, Yo la mire directamente a los ojos y le pregunto que porque yo no podía estar ahí, ella me contesto que tenia que tener un carnet para poder entrar y yo le conteste y le dije que tengo un carnet. yo trabajaba para el canal de noticia Fox News, al mismo instante con mi mano alcanzaba el carnet en mi traje y entregándoselo a ella para que lo verificara. Ella comenzó a examinar la identificación y luego contesto tu si puedes pasar. Yo le conteste, gracias con una enorme sonrisa, lo que ella no podía ver es que mi interior yo estaba dando vueltas y brincando de emoción, pero como estaba concentrada en la actuación que llevaba acabo, no podía perder la cordura.

Esto sucedió como alrededor de las cinco y media de la mañana, así mismo esa gente estuvo esperando mas por su autos para llegar a sus casas mas de lo que estuvieron en el evento. Luego de tirarme varias fotos con aquel enorme Oscar, que by the way la security fue la que me tiro fotos, lol. A esa hora todo en realidad había terminado, y estaba desmontando toda esa producción que habían creado para dicho evento. A la verdad eso fue mas que suficiente para mi, la vida se trata de piezas para un gran rompe cabezas y creo que tu alcanzas lo que quieres si te lo propones. Luego de elevar mi energia y disfrutar de aquel momento salí de aquel lugar caminando con la misma templanza en la cual entre. En el transcurso de camino al automóvil me dije misión cumplida. Al día siguiente fue mi post en la redes sociales atrayendo nuevos seguidores, muchos de mis seguidores actuales me llenaron de mucha alegría por su orgullo por mi y dejando comentarios con mucho amor. Por otra parte muchos de mis amistades no se dejaron sentir porque se que mi triunfo es su tortura y que pena que gente que le brindas una amistad sincera terminen siendo el grupo de seguidores hipócritas que te sigue para investigar tu vida para después criticarte. Lol eso so mis favoritos, por que ellos son los mas que me motivan a continuar alcanzando mis metas.

Lo que en realidad la gente no sabe es que cuando yo comparto mi vida en las redes sociales es para demostrar que si se puede, no importando de quien seas o de donde vengas, nunca deberías detener tus sueños. Por eso que cuando alguien duda de mi, a mi me encanta, por ejemplo, antes de yo hacer este viaje, casi cerca de la fecha de partida lo compartí en mi trabajo y las caras lo dijeron todo. Yo me mantuve decidida de que iba para los oscares y qué pasó lo logre. Para que me respeten. Lol

Que si lo haría otra vez_ pues seguro que si, pero la próxima vez por la puerta principal.

Al día siguiente me hice un tatuaje de un Oscar como símbolo de triunfo y de motivación para alcanzar mis metas.

Quiero agradecer a Dios por el privilegio de haberme permitido vivir esta experiencia. Aunque quizás no de la manera adecuada pero si totalmente dichosa.
